Drift
Spiritual drift rarely begins with rebellion—it starts with distraction. Learn how to recognize the warning signs and re-anchor your heart in Christ before the current carries you away.
Lonely
Lonely. Everyone gets lonely. There are inevitable moments when we feel unknown, forgotten, ignored, or even rejected. Regardless of how we may feel, God is always faithfully present. We may feel lonely but we are never alone.
Hopeless
Whenever we face political turmoil, personal trials, painful tragedies in our lives, we can simply endure them, we can try to escape them, or we can entrust our lives to God through them. The Book of Ruth encourages us to hope in God in hopeless times because our Savior, Redeemer, and Friend, JESUS, is the King of kings.
Lament
God welcomes our laments. In fact, nothing is more freeing and healthy in our relationship with Him than voicing how we really feel and knowing He totally understands. Rubik’s Cube
I've never been able to figure out a Rubik's Cube. I know - you figured it out in elementary school. And yes, 30 years later there are You-Tube videos showing you exactly how to solve it. But it's always stumped me. It's not that I haven't tried. I've seen others do it. Hearing them say … Continue reading Rubik’s Cube
Doubt and Faith
There are days that I have doubts... There are days I question the goodness of God.... There are days I look around the world and wonder… As a believer in God, a follower of Christ, and especially, as a pastor, I’m sure some think I’m not supposed to have any doubts. But the reality is that, … Continue reading Doubt and Faith
