In a world that measures worth in clicks, likes, and views, it’s easy to feel overlooked—like your life doesn’t count unless it’s trending. But JESUS doesn’t call influencers. He calls followers. He’s not looking for viral content—He’s looking for surrendered hearts. The courage of Peter and John in Acts 4:13 wasn’t born from self-confidence or popularity. It came from one thing: they had been with JESUS.
ONE
High in the Colorado mountains, groves of aspen trees look like separate trees—but they’re all connected by one singular root system. What a beautiful picture of the Church - the Body of Christ. Though we are many, we are one—rooted in the life of JESUS Christ. Read more...
Powerless
What battle are you facing today? What fears are overwhelming? What floods are overpowering? Are you unsure how to fix what’s broken, repair what’s been lost, or fight what’s coming against you? Sometimes, the best thing we can honestly pray is,“Lord, I don’t know what to do, but I look to You.”
Good Grief
When someone is grieving, it matters less what you say than that you say something. Your presence, not your precision, is what comforts the most.
Weeping
We have a place for weeping and mourning at Christmas because of the pain following Jesus’ birth. People experienced death, violence, injustice, abuse of power, and homelessness. Life, including the Christmas season, is marked by birth and celebration as well as death and loss. This is where the Bible offers a unique perspective through pain and sorrow: hope.
Lonely
Lonely. Everyone gets lonely. There are inevitable moments when we feel unknown, forgotten, ignored, or even rejected. Regardless of how we may feel, God is always faithfully present. We may feel lonely but we are never alone.
Finishing Well
How we finish our lives has a profound, lasting impact for the LORD and influence on future generations. Will we have a fantastic finish? Or simply fade away? Will those following behind us walk by faith in the LORD because of us – or despite us?
Good Friday
The cross, a symbol of horror, was the expression of God's love through His Son's atoning sacrifice. The death of Jesus on a cross on that Friday long ago was good for those who believe He died for their sin because Sunday's coming, too.
Maundy Thursday
On the Thursday before Jesus' crucifixion, He said: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” Maundy Thursday reminds us of His final and foremost command to love one another.
Hopeless
Whenever we face political turmoil, personal trials, painful tragedies in our lives, we can simply endure them, we can try to escape them, or we can entrust our lives to God through them. The Book of Ruth encourages us to hope in God in hopeless times because our Savior, Redeemer, and Friend, JESUS, is the King of kings.
